The 4th International Symposium on the Ocean in a High-CO2 World is pleased to announce applications are open for funding opportunities to assist postgraduate students and early career (< 3 years post PhD) researchers to attend the symposium.

To apply:

  • Download and complete the relevant application form
  • Save the form as a PDF file named as FirstName-FamilyName-Application.pdf
  • Submit the PDF file using the appropriate link below

Applications for funding will close on 4 November 2015.

Applicants will be advised on whether or not their request for funding is successful, and the level of support to be provided, by 31 January 2016.

Funding applications must be completed and submitted following the instructions below. Emailed applications are not accepted and will not be submitted on your behalf.

Postgraduate Students
Funding Application

  • Applications exceeding specified word limits will be declined.
  • Applications must be typewritten and sent electronically as one PDF document.
  • To be eligible you must be enrolled in a postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD).
  • This application must have your supervisor’s support.

  • Applications exceeding specified word limits will be declined.

  • To be eligible, you must be an early career scientist (< 3 years post PhD on 1st February 2016) who is currently employed.
  • This application must have your supervisor’s support.

Funding Application Status

The date for early-bird registrations has been extended until 2 March.

Funding applications are currently being finalised and all applicants will be contacted via email before the end of the month.

Presenters will need to register by 2 March to confirm their presentation in the Symposium program.
